Lip Lab Party Terms and Conditions

These Lip Lab Party Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern Lip Lab events (each a “Party”) held with BHUS, Inc., and its affiliates (collectively the “Company” or “Lip Lab”).  Lip Lab’s services, as applicable, are also governed by the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy as incorporated herein.

 

Booking Your Party

The Party reservation will be scheduled for 1-2 hours (dependent on the number of attendees) by Lip Lab at the time of booking and invoicing.  The reservation time shall commence even if all attendees are not present and culminate when all products have been distributed.  Additional time beyond the allotted reservation will be invoiced at an additional $50 per half hour.  Lip Lab will provide dedicated Color Experts to assist all scheduled attendees with the mixing and manufacturing of custom lipsticks.

 

Party Fee

A Party Fee of $20 per attendee must be paid in full upon booking the event.  This amount does not go towards the purchase of any products during the Party and is non-refundable. If you request to add additional attendees to the Party (subject to the store’s availability) after booking is completed, a fee of $20 per additional attendee will be invoiced to you at that time. The Party Fee will not be refunded or reduced if: 1) the number of actual attendees to the Party is fewer than the number paid for at the time of booking or 2) If any attendees arrive late or leave early. The previously paid Party Fee may not be transferred to another Lip Lab Boutique. If you desire to book your Party at a different Lip Lab Boutique, you must first call the original location or email us to request a refund of the Party Fee. Then, you must contact the new Lip Lab Boutique location to rebook your party. If the new location has availability and schedules your Party, we will provide you with a new invoice for the Party Fee for the new location.

 

Party Packages

We have five (5) different Party package options available to you: The Gloss Party, The Lipstick Party, The Standard Party, The Deluxe Party, and The Buyout Bash.

 

The Gloss Party

If you choose the Gloss Party, you’ll receive personalized guidance from our Dedicated Color Experts to find your perfect gloss. As part of your Party, you’ll receive a special Lip Lab Party Bag to take your custom creation home in plus either a complimentary lip primer or scrub (at Lip Lab’s discretion). The cost per person will be the Party Fee plus $55 USD/$65 CAD for the gloss.

 

Lipstick Party

If you choose the Lipstick Party, our Dedicated Color Experts will help you discover your ideal lip shade and help you hone your application technique. As part of your Party, you’ll receive a special Lip Lab Party Bag to take your custom creation home in plus either a complimentary lip primer or scrub (at Lip Lab’s discretion). The cost per person will be the Party Fee plus $65 USD/$75 CAD for the lipstick.

 

Standard Party

The Standard Party is great for bigger moments and special occasions. If you book the Standard Party, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our Dedicated Color Experts to create one custom color cosmetic. You’ll also take home one other pre-made product of your choosing, listed below. As part of your Party, you’ll also receive a special Lip Lab Party Bag to take your custom creation home in plus either a complimentary lip primer or scrub (at Lip Lab’s discretion). The cost per person will be the Party Fee plus the cost of the bundle.

Deluxe Party

If you want to host a major celebration or a bachelorette party, we recommend the Deluxe Party. As part of your party, you will create two custom beauty items chosen from our bundle menu (included below) with our expert guidance. As part of your Party, you’ll receive a Lip Lab makeup bag with a complimentary lip primer or scrub (subject to availability). The cost per person will be Party Fee + Bundle Purchase price (starting at $90/$110 CAD per person). Ready to Wear products are excluded from these bundles.

Buyout Package

If you would like to host a large group, we suggest you take advantage of our Buyout Package. With this package, you will buy out one of our stores to host a closed-door event. Each guest in your party will receive a Lip Lab makeup bag with a complimentary lip primer or scrub (subject to availability). The fee for this package includes the Party Fee, the cost of the custom products and an additional store buyout fee. Outside food and beverages may be permitted. You must disclose the desired food and beverage for your party at the time of booking for Lip Lab’s approval (in its sole discretion).  If approved, you will incur an additional fee due to the extended set up and breakdown times. We advise booking your Buyout Party at least four weeks in advance.

 

During the Party

Displays, signs, and other decorations must be pre-approved by the Lip Lab Boutique. No outside food or drink is allowed at the Lip Lab Boutique except if approved by Lip Lab as part of a Buyout Party package. You agree to be solely responsible for any damage to the Lip Lab Boutique caused by any attendee during the Party.  Lip Lab reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who puts our brand or staff at risk, including without limitation destruction of property or intoxication. Minors (attendees under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone.

 

Minimum spend for each attendee is dependent on which Party package you choose. The details regarding the minimum spend are outlined in the description for each Party package (above). Discounts and promotions are not eligible for purchases made during a Party.  Full payment for products is due upon the culmination of the Party reservation.

At the end of the Party, each attendee shall receive a free makeup bag, at Lip Lab’s discretion and subject to availability.

 

Rescheduling and Cancellations

We understand that schedules change! You may reschedule the party without additional charge up to fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled Party.  If the scheduling request is received less than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled Party, Lip Lab may require an additional 50% of the Party Fee to accommodate the rescheduled date.

If you need to cancel, you may cancel your Party up to fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled date to receive a full refund of the Party Fee.  Cancellations and location change requests received within fourteen (14) days of the scheduled date will result in a forfeit of the Party Fee.
